Principal's Message

Welcome back! The staff at Sedley School are looking forward to serving our community in the 2024-2025 school year. Our goal is to learn together by providing a safe, respectful, and caring atmosphere with hope that all students will reach their desired potential. We believe through engaging learning activities along with extra-curricular opportunities in leadership, athletics, and aesthetics, that students will find a sense of fulfillment in their school experience. Our Learning Improvement Plan demonstrates a commitment to align with the Provincial Education Plan and the Strategic Plan of Prairie Valley School Division. Sedley School staff has committed to the priorities of the school division focusing on the areas of learning and assessment in literacy and numeracy; student transitions; Indigenous Education; and, Mental Health. The school’s learning improvement plan is the foundation of our day-to-day work as we strive to make Sedley School a great place for students and community. The staff is grateful for the continued support of our engaged parents including the School Community Council. We look forward to a continued partnership as we try to improve learning opportunities for kids.
