Library

The Sedley School Library is a lovely and inviting spot to read, work or choose a book. The library is often a busy place during our school day, Our library has a part time Library Assistant.

We have a great selection of books enjoyed by the Kindergarten to Grade 8 students and staff. We strongly value literacy and the part we play in helping students meet their reading and writing goals.

Accessing Materials from the Public Library

Did you know that you are able to continue to borrow resources from the public library? Sedley residents are under the Southeast Regional Library. Parents can go to https://southeastlibrary.ca/sm/register to get a library card and have access to all the digital resources - audiobook cloud, library2go for kids, Tumblebooks & Tumblebooks Math and more. We have focused on materials for students, but there are adult resources as well, of course. Check it all out at www.southeastlibrary.ca. The attachments have instructions specific to the various resources available.
